Dear Records Custodian, This is a California Public Records Act request. Please provide me with the following records held by your agency: 1. A complete list of every sworn and civilian employee of the Oakland Police Department including: A) the total compensation paid to each employee, for the most recent complete fiscal year available, broken down by: base pay (salary), overtime, medical, retirement, other post-employment benefits, auto and housing allowance, bonus, and any other forms of financial compensation. B) the zip code of each sworn officer and civilian employee's residential home address. 2. Records sufficient to determine the total number of overtime hours worked by each individual OPD officer over the most recent fiscal year available. Records should identify each officer by name and rank. 3. Records sufficient to determine the total number of comp hours taken by each OPD officer for the most recent fiscal year available. Records should be sufficient to identify each officer by name. 4. Records sufficient to determine how many comp hours each officer sold back to the city of Oakland for the most recent fiscal year available. Records should identify each officer by name and rank, and include the number of comp hours sold back to the city, and list the dollar value paid by the city to each officer. 5. Records sufficient to determine the total deferred overtime compensation owed to each OPD officer by the city. Records should identify each officer by name and include the dollar value of the deferred overtime.

Would the city be willing to release a list of all zip codes for each and every officer's residential home address without any identifying information linked to each zip code? Basically just a big list of zip codes?

The Oakland Police Department will provide responses for item 1 by April 17, 2015. In regard to item 1b, the zip codes of the sworn personnel will not be released per 6254(f) CGC (A safety issue may be involved). All other payroll information will be provided by the City Finance Department.
