Four pages of records from the early 1970s have been uploaded in response to your request. Because these are old records stored on microfiche, the clarity is poor, but our Planning/Building staff tell me they appear to show that the location is a single family dwelling. Staff do also note that the planning regulations allow people to rent out rooms to up to three paying boarders or guests within a single family home.
Finally, if you do feel that a building is being used in violation of the laws regulating its allowed uses, you may file a complaint with City Code Enforcement by calling (510) 238-3381.
Having provided all records in our possession which are responsive, the City of Oakland will consider your request fulfilled.
