I am a concerns citizen of Oakland as to why most of the gas stations in Oakland are charging people who used credit card for additional costs. We have never experienced this in our City but suddenly almost all the gas station is charging their customer fee for using their credit card. Also, I noticed that not all the station are charging the same amount. Some charged 8 cents while other are charging 10 cents more. If we paid in chase the price of the gasoline is much cheaper but not with credit card. I want to know if the City of Oakland going to put in any kind of regulations against these gas stations. We need a law that will stop these gas stations from charging us using credit card instead of bring cash to get a better deal with gas. Is there any types of laws to stop them for charging us extra money?
