We have redacted information redacting private citizens as private citizens have an interest in and right to privacy in complaining to government. (City of San Jose v. Superior Court (1999) 74 Cal.App.4th 1008, 1020).

Your request is asking for a voluminous amount of records, and as you could see in RecordTrac, there are many other requests asking for voluminous amount of records, too. To expedite a response for your request, the Department of Information Technology (DIT) is currently running a search with the words "Miller Library", “People’s Library”, “biblioteca popular Victor Martinez”, “1447 Miller Avenue”, “1448 Miller Avenue”, “1449 Miller Avenue” and “Miller Library” among the following people: Jean Quan from Mayor's Office; Sean Whent and Howard Jordan from OPD; Deanna Santana and Fred Blackwell, from City Administrator's Office; Brooke Levin, from Public Works Agency; Dan Kalb, Jane Brunner, Pat Kernighan, Nancy Nadel, Lynette Gibson McElhaney, Libby Schaaf, Noel Gallo, Ignacio de la Fuente, Larry Reid, Desley Brooks and Rebecca Kaplan, from Council Offices, and Gregory Hunter as representative of the other agencies you mentioned. Once DIT finishes its search, records will have to be reviewed and redacted, as necessary. Depending on the amount of records that are responsive, we could either attach them or make arrangements for inspection or pick up. I would like to discuss directly with you your request to prioritize the kind of records you are mostly interested in. Please contact me at 510 238 2965 to discuss further your request and find the best way to fulfill it. Your first segment of records will be ready on July 23, 2014.
