This is a request for City records.
The following records or materials are requested. All pertain to the City's red light camera system.
I. Please provide the following documents related to the matter of the contract compliance (or other-named) action responsible for last month's and/or for the ongoing non-payment of invoices from Redflex:
A. The correspondence between the City and Redflex
B. The document(s) setting out the decision and/or settlement in the matter
C. The documents instructing City staff as to the amount of the monetary penalty and the method by which it is, or was, to be collected or otherwise obtained from Redflex or other related vendors
II. Please provide copies of all invoices from Redflex to the City, for services performed between Sept. 1, 2012 and the present, and evidence of payment of same, such as a voucher, check stub, etc.
III. Documents reflecting the current balance of the monies approved (original cap believed to be $4.32 million) for payment of invoices from Redflex. (In other words, how much of the money remains to be spent.)
IV. For each "intersection approach" or "approach" (defined as a red light camera or cameras monitoring any or all lanes of traffic entering an intersection from a single compass direction) within your jurisdiction, the tabulation or tally of violations recorded and discarded, and of citations issued (report title: Customer Management Report, or "CMR"), during each of the following calendar months (separately, one month per report) : May13, Jun13, Jul13, Aug13, Sep13, Oct13, Nov13, Dec13, Jan14, Feb14.
This request is for copies of the above records or materials, to be emailed to me. However, if any of these documents are not available in electronic format, please mail them to me.
Your attention is drawn, in particular, to Government Code Sections 6253 and 6253.1. If there are any public records that you seek to withhold, please state the reasons therefor. In addition, you must assist requester in identifying public records and information responsive to this request; and you have an obligation to "[p]rovide suggestions for overcoming any practical basis for denying access to the records and information sought."
