Dear Records Custodian, This is a California Public Records Act request. Please provide the following records in possession of the Oakland Police Department and other city departments. 1. A roster of all police officer trainees who are in the 179th Academy, including names and any other standard identifying information. 2. Records sufficient to determine the race, gender, age, language spoken, and any other demographic data you track, for each and every police officer trainee in the 179th Academy. 3. Any records which the Oakland Police Department uses to track the demographic information (race, gender, language spoken, age, etc.) of all applicants for its police officer jobs, including speadsheets.
