Since the Ghost Ship fire, the city has investigated 25 cases of suspected unpermitted occupancies or work in warehouse and commercial buildings, according to communications director, Karen Boyd (KBoyd@oaklandnet.com; (510) 238-6365). Please provide electronic access to records indicating the address of those properties, as well as records indicating whether violations were found at those locations and the city's disposition of those cases (ie, if notices of violation or abatement were issued, permits to remove the unpermitted use were issued, or any other outcome). If compliance plans were sought or issued, please provide electronic access to the plans.
