Pursuant to my rights under the California Public Records Act (Government Code Section 6250 et seq.), I ask to obtain copies of the following:
Oakland Animal Services records of all dog intake and outcomes during 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 to date.
I ask for a determination on this request within 10 days of your receipt of it, and an even prompter reply if you can make that determination without having to review the record[s] in question.
These documents are public records and are not exempt from disclosure.

A significant number of local governments make these documents available digitally, on open-government portals that are regularly updated, so I request that the city not charge duplication or preparation costs, as these forms are in the public interest.
