There are no under/above ground storage tanks records; please refer the client to Alameda County for any hazardous waste issues (permitting, tank removal, spillage, or contamination), the OFD is no longer a CUPA and does not have those records. There is no hard copy file for fire code records, only the attached database records for the annual commercial inspection performed by Station 25.

The Oakland Fire Department (OFD) does not have hazardous materials records. Effective 6/30/15, on the direction of CalEPA, OFD’s functions regulating hazardous materials facilities and status as a Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) were transferred to Alameda County Dept. of Environmental Health (ACDEH), & OFD transferred all CUPA records to ACDEH.
