Subject: Address records - FOIA Request (Public Record Request)
To Whom It May Concern:
I’d like to request the following records under the California Public Records Act:
Address records consisting of a Shapeﬁle or CSV containing at minimum the Address Points (house number and street name) and their corresponding
Latitude/Longitude. If additional data such as the Unit Number , City, Zipcode, Parcel Id exists they should be included as well.
If this cannot be accessed, the parcel ﬁle including situs address would suﬀice.
Other names for this data include: E911 Address Database, Civic Address File, Parcel Dataset, Land Ownership Dataset, Tax Parcels, Address Points.
I also intend to publish the data via the OpenAddresses Publication platform and would request a waiver of fees for the request.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulﬁlling my request. I would prefer the request ﬁlled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
