Request for Immediate Access to Public Records for the 1750 Broadway Project (PLN18369; APL19013. We are writing on behalf of Oakland Residents for Responsible Development (“Oakland Residents”) to request immediate access to any and all public records referring or related to 1750 Broadway Project, PLN18369 and APL19013, (“Project”) by Rubicon Point Partners (“Applicant”), since the date of our last request on April 24, 2019. This request includes, but is not limited to, any and all file materials, correspondence, electronic mail messages, resolutions, memos, notes, analysis, files, maps, charts, and/or any other documents related to the Project. Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, Government Code Section 6250 et seq., we request that the City of Oakland (“City”) make immediately available for inspection and copying all public records related to the Project. Citizens requests immediate access to review the responsive documents pursuant to section 6253(a) of the Public Records Act, which requires public records
to be “open to inspection at all times during the office hours of the state or local agency” and provides that “every person has a right to inspect any public record.” Gov. Code § 6253(a).

This request seeks access to the above documents for inspection under Section 6253(a) only and does not request that the City provide copies of these documents. Therefore, the ten-day response period applicable to a “request for a copy of records” under Section 6253(c) does not apply to this request.


Pursuant to Government Code section 6253.9, if any of the requested items are available in electronic format, please send them using a file hosting service such as Dropbox. Alternatively, if the electronic records are 10 MB or less (or can be easily broken into chunks of 10 MB or less), please email them as attachments. We request access to the above documents, including any electronic documents, in their
original form, as maintained by the City.1 I will be contacting you soon to arrange for the transmission of the requested
