Pursuant to SB 1421, the City is releasing the first of many records related to the officer-involved shooting of Mr. Joshua Pawlik, which occurred on March 11, 2018.

The Community Police Review Agency (CPRA) conducts an independent analysis of officer-involved shootings; their investigation into this shooting is currently underway and not yet concluded.

The City is releasing these records even though the investigation is ongoing and the administrative findings are not final, as required by SB 1421.

The City will continue releasing records related to the report, investigation, and findings of this incident on a rolling basis as they are reviewed and redacted in accordance with the law.
