I would like copies of any and all communications between ANY department of the City of Oakland and any of the following entities listed below as well as anyone else representing them regarding the condo conversion application for 415 Peterson Street and any related addresses in that complex (like 2889 Ford Street where I live).

The "entities" we know about that may have talked to the City regarding this project especially the frudlent business licenses created some time in 2017 that the Alameda County DA Erin Loback is investigating as we speak :

1. Indigo Designs (Megan, Kristin or any other person working on behalf of this company on this project at our complex)

2. Seth Jacobson and or anyone else in the "ownership group" of the 415 Peterson Street complex or working on their behalf if not listed here.

3. Allen Associates and or anyone working on their behalf if not listed here.

4. Any other persons doing business on behalf of these individuals working on the same initial condo conversion project at our address 415 Peterson if not listed here.

The time period is from February 17 through March 30, 2018.

These documents, applications and or communications in any format (email, usps letters, phone records) would involve multiple city departments from Planning/Zoning to Finance and or maybe the City attorney or other City officials so I am making a blanket request across ALL (applicable) City of Oakland departments that may have been involved in this condo conversion project esp those that dealt with the fraudulently obtained licenses under investigation in any way.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that after Indigo Designs was trying so hard to obtain these business licenses from some residents here up to February 2017, while they clearly misrepresented this entire complex as commercial live/ work without disclosing all the units nor their long accepted "status" (residential, home occupation etc), that they didn't have anymore commutations with City officials in this time period.

I don't think Alameda County DA Erin Loback buys that story either so expect them to ask for the same things I am and hope they don't find the City has been assisting Seth Jacobson and his "minions" like Indigo Designs in his fraudulent activities (by concealing communications between the City and him or any of his minions).

Erin Loback told us today that their investigation into Seth Jacobson was their office's current top priority so this is far from the end of investigations that will hopefully also be looking into whether the City was involved and what they communicated with these entities above in the exact same time period I am asking about now.

The DA also asked us if we knew what other properties Seth Jacobson had in Alameda County/Oakland and whether we knew if Indigo Designs was involved.

Expect more records requests for that info soon (from me and the DA) which we are sharing all this with tenant attorneys and advocacy groups as well as the warehouse coalition Jonah Strauss heads up to see if Seth Jacobson, Indigo Designs and or Allen Associates have tried to pull the same nonsense at other buildings affecting other Oakland residents.

It goes without saying that myself and the DA are interested in seeing what other business the City has had with these entities and whether or you were involved or not in any similar crimes like they are actively investigating now even as an innocent party to them perhaps (also this is a top #1 priority for their office we were told).

I am sure the press would be very interested too considering the current mayor's statements about not displacing artists/residents in "live/work" situations like us.
